Edward, Sophia, Elizabeth and Mr. Clarke went to Church. I was very unwell all day. Amelia sat with Teresa and me during Church hours. Mr. Clarke dined here. I believe Sophia scolded Edward for being so very attentive to Miss Meredith. Edward means no harm but he is very wrong. He has a good wife and he should make her happiness his only study.
