| REGULATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION |
LIRI VALLEY TACTICAL REGULATIONS All participants must sign a Registration Form and a Medical Release form. Minors above the age of 14 must have two adults sign the Parental Consent form. ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMUNITION ON SITE NO wood tip blanks OR shotguns allowed All mortar simulator rounds and rifle grenades shall have a discharging charge only, no secondary charge. Maximum weight shall be 6 ounces for projectiles with tailfins and 8 ounces for projectiles without. All participants MUST wear period helmets. No participants under the age of 14 allowed. Minors aged 14 to 16 may participate, but may not carry a weapon. All minors 17 and under must attend under the supervision of a parent or guardian or with an established BSA Venturing group and have the Parental Consent Form signed and witnessed by two consenting adults. Upon registration you will be issued a color-coded pass, which will identify you as a re-enactor, re-enactor/vendor, or vendor only. Anyone caught without a registration card will be immediately removed from the battlefield and that person's unit commander contacted promptly to address the situation. Personal vehicles of non-WWII vintage must be parked in a separate area immediately after unloading. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING OF PRIVATELY OWNED VEHICLES ALLOWED ON EVENT SITE with the exception of era correct vehicles. NOTE: All camping inside the battlefield area must be authentic or a close proximity. There will be an international living history committee inspecting both Allied and Axis areas for infractions. There will be a location outside the battlefield area for modern camping and privately owned vehicles. All reenactors must have correct period or quality reproduction uniforms and gear, or historically accurate impressions. 14 Channel FRS radios must be in a period type case. Reproductions are permissable as long as they faithfully represent original equipment. Use of "captured weapons" is frowned upon. Although we all know it happened, at this point in the war it was not commonplace. Use of such must be approved by the Allied and Axis coordinators respectively. Be authentic; use weapons of the country you represent. Display of Nazi Flags and Banners are not allowed anywhere on site. German troops did not display these in the field. Safety is the first and primary concern. There will be an inspection of all weapons, blanks, and battlefield devices by designated members of all units. No preloaded magazines. At the morning inspections all clips will be removed from cartridge belts for inspection. Your registration card will be color-coded at inspection and you will be asked to produce it throughout the day. Unit commanders will be ultimately responsible for their unit's actions. Registration cards must be on each participant at all times and will list the participant's unit commander. Hit calling is frowned upon a nd will not be tolerated. Unit commanders and NCOs will act as neutral umpires to ensure that their troops are taking obvious hits. Anyone using foul language will automatically be a casualty, and if language continues, will be asked to leave the battlefield. Unit commanders must report to Scott Campbell, the overall coordinator, upon registration. Please provide a roster of unit members who are attending. Unit commanders are requested to be available for the Commander's Meeting on site Friday evening. Individual reenactors will be aligned with an existing unit. All units, US, British, Canadian, German, Polish, French, are welcome to attend, even if that unit was not in Italy. Absolutely no night attacks or firing of weapons at night due to the dangerous terrain. No use of flare guns, fireworks, etc. No shooting at low flying aircraft. All explosive devices are to be approved before dispersion into the event. Saturday evening meal is included for reenactors and vendors. Machine guns must have proper ATF paperwork.
