| Oozaru |
| The Oozaru form is by far the most powerful under SSJ3. When the Saiya-jin looks at a full moon they transform into a big monkey. All Saiya-jins with tails are able to turn Oozaru. Oozaru roughly means big monkey in japanese. When Oozaru, the Saiya-jin is covered with brown fur, is about 50 ft tall, has red eyes and their muscle span increases a hell of a lot. Only Goku and Gohan couldn't control it. |
| Super Saiya-jin |
| Super Saiya-jin (SSJ1) was first seen in the Namek Saga, Goku turned after Freeza killed Kuririn. To turn SSJ1, you need to be pure of heart and you have to have a need.When you are SSJ1, your hair sticks up (like it's levitating) and it has turned a golden-blonde colour, also your eyes go green and your muscle span increases. |
| Acended Super Saiya-jin |
| Gohan was the first to go Acended Super Saiya-jin (SSJ2), when Cell crushed #16's head, he was so enraged he turned and kicked the android's ass big style. When SSJ2 the Saiya-jin's hair is still stuck up though in more individual spikes and they have a single spike fringe sticking down(except Vegeta) and their eyes are still green, plus the muscle span expands. |

| Super Saiya-jin Form 3 |
| Yet again Goku was the first to go into the new Saiya-jin form Super Saiya-jin Form 3 (SSJ3), while he was training in the after world. When SSJ3, the Saiya-jin's hair grows to about 3 ft long, their eyebrows disapear and their eyes are green and of course their muscle span increases. Only 2 Saiya-jins went SSJ3, Goku and Gotenks. SSJ3 though very powerful, was not enough to defeat Buu. |
