We used the Friday before Halloween to help our students prepare masks to wear to our Halloween Party. I had my husband carve a pumpkin for us to display ^_^.
Our Halloween party was interesting. We have 4 classes an hour at our school. We put 2 classes together in a room. Some of the kids brought candy, and the teachers also had candy. The kids sat in a circle and played "Trick or Treat". The kids went around the cirle one at a time. They stopped at each other kid and said "Trick or Treat". The seated kids had the option of giving them a candy (either a candy they had brought to share, or a candy that they had received from another kid), or saying ,"trick". The kids didn't say, "trick" very often.
Then we played some games: Draw a pumpkin blindfolded and Hangman. It was a wild and noisy day. Everyone was relieved when it was over. Halloween must be every adult's (at least those involved with childen) nightmare.
