Welcome to the Lions Club of Raub's Homepage

We welcome you as a visitor both here, on the Web, and at our monthly meetings. Please note that our Club's bi-monthly meetings are held at 9.00pm on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month

Through membership in a Lions club, people not only help those in need, but have the opportunity to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills.

The Lions Club of Raub serves the Raub District of Pahang. The club currently has more than 40 members and is always looking for dedicated men and women willing to contribute time and energy to making their community a better place to live.

Since 1917, Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced those committed to building a brighter future for their community. Lions are members of community service clubs, dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. Today with more than 1.4 million members in more than 44,600 clubs in 190 countries and geographical areas, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our global community. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian. Lions are now best known for their sight-related programs, including SightFirst, the world's largest blindness prevention program.
