THE BIBLE CHAIR
The Bible Chair is the name we give to the actual physical facility that the Lions For Christ use for all of our activities. The picture above shows the exterior of our beautiful new facility. It was constructed in 2004 and officially opened for the Fall 2004 semester.
It is located at 1900 Culver St., on the west side of the Commerce church of Christ.

This is the second Bible Chair the Commerce Church of Christ has constructed. The first was built in 1957 on the corner of Monroe & Lee. The old structure was in much need of repair, so rather than do a massive renovation, the elders decided it was in the best interest of the Campus Ministry to build a brand new place for the college students to meet.  
The interior of the Bible Chair is very nice. All the furnishings were brand new at the time of our grand opening. The students have access to comfortable couches, tables, a big screen TV, DVD player, VCR, a Nintendo 64, a  PS2, a slate top pool table, ping-pong table, air hockey table, and a full kitchen.
Many generous gifts were given in order to provide a top quality place for our college students to enjoy and relax.

We also use this space for Wednesday night Bible classes, devos, and other special events.
