Tago

Guardian of the North

Tago is the Guardian of the North. His vibe is dark, cold, and still. His demeanor is stern and unyeilding.

In some instances he is believed to be related to or correspond with Tages - "An Etruscan deity who possesses wisdom. He appeared from a groove when a field was newly ploughed and taught the gathered Etruscans the skills of divination and augury. Tages is portrayed as a young man with two snakes as legs. This particular Etruscan art of divination, later applied by the Romans as well, was written in the so-called Libri Tagetici (also Haruspicini or Acherontici) (Ovid XV, 558)." (Ref.)
