The Lion King 3: Chapter 2
At Mwangka's lair, Kamila was complaining.
"What will we ever do about those blasted Pride Landers! We could start a brush fire! No, too damaging. Or or we could kill all of the cubs. Well, no. It's too bloody. Hmmmm..." Suddenly, a miraculous, evil idea came into that lioness's head. "We could... take over."
"What?" Mwangka asked. "How would we do that?" Kamila smiled evilly.
"We disguise ourselves. We roll in the mud to hid our fur color. Then we go to Pride Rock and say that we've been traveling for a long time, and we need a place to stay. Then one day, we hurt pride members, take all the meat, and banish those pesty cubs."
"Good idea, Kammy. When do we get started?"
"Oh, Honey Tree, not for a few months. We need to come up with the perfect plan and disguises," Kamila told him. "That lioness cub, Savanna, I think it was, well, I know we can get her to join us. I know she's jealous of those two lovebird cubs. That foundling cub, Mtwali, will be our key to getting Savanna. He's bound to steal her heart away."
Mwangka smiled in a sly sort of way, then looked puzzled.
"But how do we get Kovu?"
"Well, he'll be so harassed by the the troubles going on in his measly little kingdom that he'll be forced to surrender to us," Kamila said, picking up a royal stance.

Months passed, and Larani, Savanna, and Niran were adolescents. Also, Kamila and Mwangka were just about ready to put their evil plan into action.
  "MTWALI!" Kamila yelled. "Come here!"
"Yes, Kamila," Mtwali answered. He was small for his age, and he only had a small tuft of mane on his forehead. Mtwali trotted to the edge of the Pride Lands where Kamila and Mwangka were standing with some of the other pride members.
"Now look, you premature little pipsqueak, go into those thornbushes and pretend to cry for help. When you see Savanna coming, call to her and ask her to help you get out of the thorns. Then-"
"Wait, now," Mtwali butted in. "How do I know it's her?"
"Well, she's a tawny young lioness, about your size, with our kid of nose, but pink. She has brown-red eyes and some cheek fur. Besides, she'a the only one going out to check for intruders," Kamila explained hurriedly. "She'll go out of her way to help you, because she really wants a boyfriend; the young lion she admires likes and is betrothed to her sister. So, after she helps you, tell her you need a place to stay. Go to Pride Rock, and after four days, EXACTLY four days, we will make our 'journey' there. I'll explain then. Well, go already, you underdeveloped little twirp!"
Mtwali climbed into the thornbushes, thinking,'What's the point of this? Maybe they're up to something.'
  "RRRROOOOAAAARRRR!  RRROORRGH!  ROOOOOOOOOORRRRGH!"

Elsewhere in the Pride Lands, Savanna was stalking around, watching for hyenas or other intruders, when suddenly she heard a loud roar.
'Someone is calling for help,' she thought to herself. So Savanna ran toward the call. She soon ound a cute young lion(Mtwali) caught in a thornbush.
"Hey, savan--" he caught himself,  then tried again. "Hey lioness! Can you help me?"
Savanna ran over.
"Sure!I'll help!" she carefully got all the thorns off of Mtwali. "Wanna stay at my place until your scratches heal? My dad wouldn't mind."
So Mtwali went with Savanna to Pride Rock. As they stepped into the cave, Savanna called,"Father! Are you in there?"
  "Yes, Savanna?"
They turned around. Kovu looked at Mtwali, then at Savanna.
"Can he stay here, Dad? I found him in some thornbushes out on the plains. Can he stay until he gets better?" Savanna asked. She hoped he could stay forever.
"What is your name, and where are you from?" Kovu questioned Mtwali.
"Um, uh, I'm Mtwali. I don't really know where I'm from. My parents died. now I'm living---"
"Well, then, if you don't have your own home, you
may stay with us," Kovu said. "Let me show you around on a 'royal tour'." So, Mtwali got to see the regular cave, the visitors' cave, the upper resting area, and the other sights at Pride Rock. He also met all the members. He wished he could stay here forever, without Mwangka's pride invading.
Mtwali spent the first three days with Savanna. She taught him how to swim, hunt, and jump high. On the fourth morning,  The pair went to the Upper Resting area. Mtwali looked off into the horizon.
"Oh, no. no.They're coming," he said quietly. Savana heard him.
"Who's coming?" she looked. "Another pride! I have to warn my dad!" They found Kovu, talking with Simba about how to rule the Pride Lands (he was not fully trained).
"Dad, Grandpa! There's another pride coming. Come look!" Savanna yelled. Simba, Kovu, and some lionesses came out to see.
"They're weird-looking," said Vitani."Their noses are like yours, Kovu, but the leader's mane is like Simba's!"
  The male lion approached Kovu.
"Uh, excuse me Ko--uh, I mean, We've been traveling for a long time," Mwangka said in a gruff voice."We would like to rest here for a while to get our strength up."
Kovu looked hard at them, then turned to Simba.
  "Should I?"
"Yes, but just for a few months," Simba replied. "You lions and lionesses can take the guest cave." He gestured to the bottom of Pride Rock.
As the pride made their way to the cave, Larani and Niran approached.
"Who are they?" she asked. "They look a little familar."
"Yes, they do. But they could've come from anywhere," Kovu said, looking toward the cave. We'll just have to see if we can trust them."
