What is going on ? From war and rumour of war,...
to Collision of Naval Patrol Boat with a commercial vessel...
to lampost falling and killing 13 years old....
to Mercedes Crashing onto the MRT Tracks and hit by train..
...Trees Uprooted.
It would seem a season of explosive evil is upon us. We are barley 3 months into 2003 and there is so much violence and death in the air.
TWO things caught my eye and impresses my spirit as I read the newspaper about the storm yesterday
Let me explain myself. Three Things caught my attention :
Firstly They were very matured trees that have been standing there since ages.
Secondly Not just one tree but several trees. and some crashes into houses
Thirdly , they were in a residential estate by the name of Mt Sinai. The moutain Moses obtained the 10 Commandments.
Mt Sinai incidentally was formerly known as Jln Kain. Malay names for different costumes. But a group of residents appealed for the name change in 1968. If anyone knows the reason for the appeal please let me know
Thus I began to ponder if there might be a spiritual lesson here and the verse I gotten was
Ecclesiastes 11:3
If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the North, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be..
