Wherelse in the world can you find a region whereby the 3 Major religion of the World cohabits ? Namely, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism. Asia and to be more precise South East Asia and the region of Indo-China. The 3 major world religion coincides.

Changing Face of Merlion
This region known as Indo-China and South East Asia was at one time a solid land mass.

Till the Ice age submerges some part of the land mass and separate Borneo from Penisular Malaysia by seas.
What has the region got to do with Singapore. Well, once upon a time before the south east asia nation was called by their present names they were part of a bigger land mass, the Sunda Continental Shelf. And Singapore is just but a part of the bigger land mass.

Singapore history is also a relatively short and new one beginning with our Independence in 1965. And that I believed is the soverieign will of the Almighty God.

Singapore interestingly is situated at the tip of the malay penisular. The "Full Stop" of the larger archipelago stretching from Laos down to Thailand, to Malaysia. Either way, we can be The Beginning or The End land mass.

Interestingly our new Merlion standing at 37m tall looks Northward. If I may use a bit of imagination and "creative license" there is 2 North.

One is a Longtitudal North. Which would cover Malaysia, Cambodia and Hanoi.

The Other would align Sentosa, Woodlands Causeway and the Malaysia North South Highway.
