To get Epona go to Romani Ranch on the 1st day and talk to Romani,you can play a game where you ride Epona and shoot 10 balloons.Once you shoot all 10 balloons she will teach you Epona's Song,then you can call Epona anywhere you want.You need Epona to get to Great Bay Beach,Ikana Valley,and Rockvale.(to get into Romani Ranch,you must put a powder keg down to bust the rock in the road,Goron Link is the only one who can use powder kegs)
If you are having trouble landingwhen you are gliding,here is a tip.Just look for a black dot below you and you will know where you will land when you drop.This is very helpful in Dekunuts Palace when going to save the monkey.
If you get jinxed by a blue bubble and can't use your sword,just play the Song of Storms to heal yourself.You can get the Song of Storms after you get the Captain's Hat and go to Ikana Graveyard down inside the grave with Stalchilds around it.
If you are having trouble keeping from dying,just put fairies in your bottles(the normal pink fairies like in Ocarina of Time).This is very helpful when fighting the Iron Knuckles.
You can get the gilded sword by first beating Snowhead Temple, then go win first place in the goron races, and then go to the mountain Smithy's shop, upgrade to the razor sword, give him the gold dust, and then wait, after one day go back in and get the strongest sword in the game. NOTE:IT HELPS TO HAVE TIME SLOWED DOWN FOR THIS, IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEATEN SNOWHEAD AND GONE BACK IN TIME, YOU CAN GO BACK IN THE TEMPLE AND BEAT THE BOSS WHEN YOU WALK IN AND THEN DO THE ABOVE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GET THE GILDED SWORD IF IT IS NIGHTIME ON THE SECOND DAY!!!
If you are getting tired of the buzzard stealing your things, here is how to avoid him. All you have to do is put on your stone mask and he can't see you, if you want you can equip a magic arrow and shoot him three times while wearing the mask to kill him and get 200 rupees.This is a good way to build up 5000 rupees in the bank for the heart piece, just keep killing the buzzard, filling up your wallet (best if you have the 500-rupee wallet), and depositing it into the bank.
The easy way to beat a boss is if you have gotten to a point where you can get to the moon after you have beaten all four temples, and have all 24 masks, then you can complete all four mini-dungeons on the moon.After you complete the mini-dungeons and all of your masks are gone go talk to the kid wearing Majora's Mask at the tree, he will say you have no masks, he will give you the Fierce Deity Mask and you can battle him after you defeat all three stages of Majora's Mask wearing your new mask, you can use it on any boss in the game because the game automatically saves when you beat it and the credits come up.
