Renaldo's Philosophies

I've come to realize a few things, and I guess I should put them on this site. There is no real point in holdig secrets, for there are no secrets worth holding.

The way I've come to understand it, if there isome secret that is worth hiding from the public, then it isnt that important. This is one reason that someone must be weary of anything that promises an ultimate technique upon attaining a certain level.

Please,in regards to my philosophy, I implore eveyone who reads this to take my considerations to heart and to see if they can find something that doesnt fit, or something they dont agree on. I KNOW that there are things people will dislike, but this is how I see the matter in text, and tomorrow, it may change.

But let me tell you this, I didnt think like this last week, so you never know when someone may open your eyes to something painfully obvious. All I'm asking you is to free your mind.

This is something I dawned on in Math class while my teacher was absent. Ha! What are the odds of that? By the way, these are all my ideas. Basically I took information from multiple sources that I've come to live by and tried to link them in a way that makes sense.

Chi - Energy of the body
Ki - Energy of the mind

Chi is the strength that one harnesses through their body as a result of rigorous training. Chi is outwardly evident in fighting styles and is the determining factor of human power. For some, Chi mastery is the highest form of mastery. Yet, while Chi is seen as one of the ultimate energies, due to its nature of being derived from the human body, it is limited by nothing other than the weakness of the human body.

It was said in ancient books that there were only three absolute powers: The power of the spirit (body), the power of the mind and the power of the Universe. Of these, the power of the Spirit is the most evident power. This power creates other energies, is the basis of Chi and does the physical work of God, who just happens to be the power of the Universe. The infinite power of the Universe belongs to God, and he has the power to create, judge and destroy anything and everything.

In fact, there were some religions that sought to end the monotonous cycle of reincarnation, and they believed that once attaining a higher level of understanding, their spirits would meld with the Great Spirit in the afterlife. I actually believe this to an extent, but I'll say where they were wrong. They were wrong in that they believed that the Spirit itself was the last level of existing. I dont want to name the religion, in case I mixed it up, but know that it still exists today and is very large. What I believe, pertaining to this religion, is that the higher level of understanding was attained through finding the realm of Ku (next paragraph) and that their spirits did not fear death, hence the return to the Greater Spirit (my Spirit from the second paragraph). But keep in mind that I may be wrong, I'm just linking all the religions together to see if it makes sense.

Finally, I shall explain "Ku" and its relation to the Universal Powers. Literally, Ku translates into "Sky," "Emptiness," "Nothingness," and "Void". This is not the best way of viewing Ku, since it has been twisted out of proportion. "One who is not thoroughly familiar with the Way of the samurai will not come to know the meaning of Ku...When a person faces a deadlock in life, with no way out, he often refers to this condition as Ku, which is incorrect...For a samurai, the true understanding of Ku can be attained in the thorough practice of the Way of martial strategy...His mind should be devoid of delusion and he should be constantly disciplining himself in both body and mind.. His true Ku is found where there is no cloud of delusion and when he is free from a world of bewilderment."

That is the meaning of Ku accoring the Miyamoto Musashi, author of the "Book of Five Rings", otherwise known as "Gorin no sho". Musashi's ideals are practical, and can be applied to all facets of life. I take his words to heart, even me, who has only seen the beginning of the Way. In regards to Ku, it is only attainable when one is "enlightened by the Way of Truth" (Musashi again). Therefore, it can be seen as a state of mind. For it will be evident by the end of this page, that the strongest power is the power of the mind, for it is the power of the Mind that can perceive the power of the Universe. Therefore, it is appropiate that we view Ku and the Universe not as "Empty" and such, but as "boundless," "infinity," "limitless," and "The Ultimate." Ku is the domain of an enlightened individual, and can only be attained if one follows the truth.
