| Part One: The Black Hole Chapter 7
The last of the remote-controlled space-crafts were caught in the Freeze-frames.
"Unbind head.", she said, thinking it sounded a bit silly.
The head and face of her Morpheus suit went back under her skin. She wiped her forehead. Edele's voice came over her radio,
"Keaves, you're breathing pretty hard. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I was just hot.", she replied, "You think they're here for Lindsay?"
"Probably."
"Hello! I'm right here, y'all!", Lindsay piped up over the intercom.
"Everybody wants Lindsay.", Edele said, nonchalantly.
"You what!?", Lindsay exclaimed.
"You're Xionia, Lindsay. You know what I meant."
"I can't help it if I'm important."
"You're head's gotten too big for your helmet."
"Jealous."
"Don't make me shock yo' ass."
The Royal Mystique Ship still stood far off in the distance, like some looming shadow. It was eerily idle. It moved at a super-slow pace, inch by inch.
"If they sent those robots after us, it means they can see us like we can see them.", Edele said.
"So, we need to move out of their visual.", Keavy said.
"Right. Let's separate, everybody."
Lindsay, following the rest, grabbed the steering control and attempted to turn. It wouldn't budge. She tried to stay cool and thrust the stick harder.
"Guys, I need help! I'm stuck somehow!", she panicked.
"Hang on. We'll help you.", Edele said, "Don't move."
Lindsay could feel a slight tug on her jet. It made her uneasy. She looked through the window of her jet's cab, and finally noticed the black hole. The colors were absolutely mesmerizing. Blues and pinks danced in the galaxy, with what looked like bolts of electricity running through them, shifting as the hole widened. And pulled the jet closer, ready to swallow her.
"I don't want to die."
"Lindsay! Lindsay, just stay calm. Don't move!", Keavy said.
"I'm not trying to! It's moving me! Oh my god, it's pulling me in!!", the panic shook her voice.
Keavy turned her jet towards Lindsay. "I'm coming! Stop crying. Keep cool, stay with me!"
Lindsay was breathing hard, hyperventilating. Tears went down her cheek. She could feel the tug.
"Damn!"
"Keavy!"
"Lindsay!"
Her jet vanished, zipped into the hole in the blink of an eye. The others screamed her name in unison.
At the same time, the skies looked like they were falling. It took on an odd color. The planets spun out of control. The jets picked up a strong turbulence. The Universe was literally disrupting.
"God, what's going on?", Sinead said under her breath.
