The Provincial Divisions respond to national emergencies (such as floods, distasters, martial law) help in humanitarian aid efforts and stand as the last line of defense for the Realm. They are never deployed overseas or in foreign combat.
The Provincial Divisions are commanded by the Lieutenant Captain who is overseen and advised by the Legionary High Command. There are currently 21 Provincial Divisions stationed across Lindonarlin. The service months are staggered so that there is always at least a battalion on duty in each province. In times of war all units may be activated and placed on standby.
The Provincial Divisions also have two flights of WarEagles assigned to them as well as a wing of Heavy Stratus.
This brings the combat strength of the Provincial Divisions to 109,263 with support troops numbering 27,315 plus an air crew of 160 and air support personnel to 200.
