John COKER was born about 1690 in VA.⁽¹⁷³⁾ He signed a will on 16 Dec 1758.^{(174) (175)} Will names his children as: William, John, James, Joseph, Robert, Honour Drury Smith, Mary Floyd, Priscilla. On 21 Sep 1721 Margaret Clay Coker, his grandmother, names him in her will in Surry Co., VA. He died about 1759 in Brunswick Co., VA. He had an estate probated on 22 May 1759.⁽¹⁷⁶⁾ He resided St. Andrews Parish in Surry Co., VA.⁽¹⁷⁷⁾ He was married to Priscilla GIDDINGS before 1715.

145. Priscilla GIDDINGS. Children were:

i. Bryan COKER.
ii. John COKER resided Christian Co., KY.

iv. Priscilla COKER.
v. William COKER⁽¹⁷⁸⁾ resided Cheraw District, SC in 1790.⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ William's sons served in the Revolutionary Way from St. David's Parish. In 1790, they are all in the Orangeburg District.
vi. James COKER had an estate probated in 1793 in Greenville Co., VA. ⁽¹⁸⁰⁾ He died in 1793 in Greenville Co., VA. He resided Greenville Co., VA.⁽¹⁸¹⁾ He signed a will. ⁽¹⁸²⁾ Benjamin, his son-in-law, was a witness to his will.
