72. Joseph COKER
was born about 1715 in Surry Co., VA. He owned land on 6 Feb 1771 in Craven
District, SC. There was a survey of his 200 acres of land on the waters of Little
River, bounded on the west by Shadrack Martin and on the east of Thomas Dandy.
He emigrated in 1775 from Craven District, SC to Laurens Co., SC. He moved
from Craven District, SC to Laurens Co., SC. He died after Mar 1792 in Laurens
Co., SC.(134) He signed a will on 20
Mar 1792 in Laurens Co., SC. 71//103
In the name of God Amen. I, Joseph Coker of the state of So. Carolina
and county of Laurens, being very sick and weak in body but in perfect mind.
Thanks be given unto God Calling unto mind the mortallity of my body and knowing
that it is appointed for all once to die. I do make and ordain this my last will
testiment viz priupally and first of all give and reccomend my soul to the hands
of allmighty god that give it and my body I recomend to the earth to be buried
at the direction of my Est ors in a decent Christian burial nothing doubting
but at general resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power
of god and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased god to bless
me with in this life I give dismiss and dispose of the same in the following
mannor and form. First of all I give and bequeath Mary my dearly beloved wife
all my estate together with all my house hold goods movibles and teniments be
freely possessed by her, her life time this mare four years old which I further
give and bequeth to my dearly beloved and youngest son John Coker with one cow
and calf and one sow and pigs, Abo I give and bequeath to well beloved son Drury
Coker and Callvin Coker who I likewise make and ordain the sole Ext/s of this
my last will and testimint all seperately I give Drury Coker one Sorrel horse
now in his pocessession horses which is now in his pocessession and I do hereby
utterly disallow wills legates bequeaths and exectutors by me in any wise naming
this and no other to be my last will and testimint in witness wherof I have hereunto
let my hand I seal this seven hundred and ninety two---

73. Mary ALDRIDGE resided Roanoke, VA or Charlotte Co., VA. She
was born in Brunswick Co., VA. She died in Laurens Co., SC. Children were:

William COKER was born about 1755. He served in the military in 1780 in
Williamsburg Co., SC.(136) Served in
the Revolution from Williamsburg Co., SC He appeared on the census in 1790 in
York Co., Camden Dist., SC.(137) He
died in 1791 in York Co., SC.(138)
He resided between the Black Swamp and Lynches Creek in SC.

Calvin COKER was born about 1756. He died in Franklin Co., GA.

Robert "of Rayburn" COKER was born about 1757.

Drury COKER was born about 1758. He signed a will on 20 Dec 1830 in Laurens
Co., SC.
v.
Thomas COKER was born in 1761 in Brunswick Co., VA. He died on 6 Jan 1835
in Harlan Co., KY. He served in the military in Revolutionary War. Revolutionary
War pension number: 30957 He resided. Laurens Co., SC, Franklin Co., GA,
and Sevier Co., TN,
