Humming Bird From My Yard

Update:  Migration 2004

On a very windy day in early November, 2004, I caught a quick glimpse of a Hummingbird.  We had had a cold snap earlier in October, so the likelyhood of a ruby-throated was slim, so I like to believe it was Rufetta.

November & December 2003

Rufetta, the Rufous Hummingbird that has been at my home has not shown since Saturday, December 20.  On Sunday AM it was below 32º in the AM, it warmed to the low 40's.  I am hoping she took the sunny day as an opportunity to head further south.  This is the only day since November 24th that I have not seen her.
