Leadership Traits |
There are 14 main leadership traits, you can easily remember them by the acronym JJ DID TIE BUCKLE. Justice - the practice of being fair and consistent. Judgement - the ability to think things out clearly, calmly, and in and orderly fashion so that you can make good decisions. Dependability - you can be relied upon to perform your duties properly. Initiative - the ability, or presence of mind, to take action in the absence of any clearly definded orders. Decisiveness - ability to make quick and soundly decisions. Tact - the ability to deal with others without creating offense or friction. Integrity - being honest and truthful Enthusiasm - since interest and exurberance in the performance of your duties. Bearing - the way you conduct and carry yourself Unselfishness - puting comfort and advancement of others before your own Courage - allows you to remain calm while recognizing fear Knowledge - the understanding of a science or art Loyalty - devotion to God, Country, Family, and the Corps.
