Rockin' Down Through Agrabah

Guest Interviews

I've interviewed both Mozenrath and Princess Jasmine to find out a bit more about them.

Lord Mozenrath
Lin-Z:
Mozenrath, being in a music video has to be a new experience for you. What was your first reaction when you learned of these videos?
Mozy:
Well I was pretty much amazed, and wowed with the artistic work. Sure I've seen movies, tv shows and all, but Music videos, holy Ixtala! They are definatly something new in everyday media!
Lin-Z:
Many of these videos feature you in your best moments. How has this effected your social life? I bet you're real popular with the ladies. *wink*
Mozy:
Well that's a good question. My actions such as my malice, my taunting, my power, my influence made me possibly the most powerful enemy of the 7 deserts. I've gained many enemies in the process (such as that idiot Aladdin and that dainty Princess Jasmine!) but I also have friends. Infact, I chill, shmooze, hang out, spend time with many women. Some includes the smart mouthed Shego, the gothic Maleficent, the ruthless Eris, the naughty Mirage and many other babes out there. It's good to be the ladies man, but I do have to focus on my ambition to rule all.
Lin-Z:
Do you have a favourite of these music videos?
Mozy:
Personally, my favorite is "Out of my Way," since it shows how I do whatever I want, go whenever/wherever I want to, and it also shows me as a rebel *laughs*
Lin-Z:
What do you think of the type of music used?
Mozy:
I don't know. They seem pretty old and all, but funny to listen too! The "Take it or leave it" is so enjoyable to hear, that I can't stop listening to it over and over again.....
Lin-Z:
Is it true, that after the production of "The Last Laugh" you destroyed a very expensive camera and threatened the life of miss Vivian Montgommery for getting your defeats on tape?
Mozy:
Well yes I did. Infact, I had a bad mood for almost two weeks due to that awful "music video", that I destroyed the camera and also tortured Aladdin twice as hard as I usually do. Also, Miss Monto-whatever got threatened by me due to her constant teasing about my failiures *sighs*
Lin-Z:
There has been rumours going around that you and Pizzazz of the Misfits are related. Is she really your sister?
Mozy:
No way! So far as I can recall, I have no family. I was created by my sadistic, hideous master, Destane. I don't want to talk about it, since it's a long and complicated story......
Lin-Z:
Aladdin's foiled your plans multiple times. How has that effected your ambitions? Do you still plan to rule the seven deserts?
Mozy:
I feel regretful to lose such to a pathetic, stupid, weak street rat, but that can never make me lose confidence or my reputation, since I never give up my goals and all that. Even if Aladdin wins, know this. I will and always will be superior to that pathetic mortal, because of my godlike sorcery powers. Face it, I outclass him in every way.
Lin-Z:
Mind giving our viewers at home a hint as to your next plan?
Mozy:
Hmmm *thinks*

You really want to know a secret? Do you? DO YOU? Well then, here's the deal. I undertook a series dangerous quests to find the long forgotten sphere of immortality, which made me a powerful immortal god. I don't want to tell you how I did all the tough quests, due to it being long and complicated, but anyways, yes, I am a god now. So expect me to torture Aladdin as harder than ever, and as well as some other weak mortals (no wonder I gave up my mortality, because I HATE MORTALS!) We'll see how Aladdin's fate will come now...... *laughs*

In the meantime, I still socialize with the other gods, especially my best friend, Hades, who's another ladies' man! I should probably shut up for now, since I don't want to leak out too much information. So find them out later when you can. Until then, I'll see you in a Gommorah day.

Princess Jasmine
Lin-Z:
Jasmine, what was your reaction when you heard the Holograms, Misfits and Stingers were going to use their music to make music videos featuring Mozenrath as their center focus?

Jasmine:
To be honest I was surprised. Aladdin and I both like the Hologram's music, but we don't really get Mozenrath's sudden popularity. I can understand the Misfits or The Stingers featuring someone like Mozenrath though. He fits in well with their image.

Lin-Z:
Judging from the footage in the videos, fighting villains looks like no easy task. "Take It Or Leave It" even has a shot where Mozenrath turned you to stone.

Jasmine:
Right, I wouldn't call it easy. It is a challenge but I won't hesitate to help if I see someone in trouble. I remember that...and trust me being made of stone was miserable. What a rotten thing to do to anyone!

Lin-Z:
What do you think of the music used for these videos?

Jasmine:
As I said before I do like Jem and the Holograms. The Misfits even have a few good songs. I think a couple of the songs describe Mozenrath very well.

Lin-Z:
I understand you got to meet with some of the members of each band. What is your opinion, and would you buy their music?

Jasmine:
It was a pleasure to meet them. Personally I don't think I would get along that well with Riot, but being a Princess you learn how to act diplomatic. I would certainly buy some of the Holograms and Misfits music.

Lin-Z:
Mozenrath was pretty vocal in his dislike for "The Last Laugh". I bet, for you, it was a relief to have a video featuring the good guys winning.

Jasmine:
Oh yes! That was my favorite video by far. Of course Mozenrath wouldn't like it, the video showed things like they really happened. That sorcerer hates to lose. But Aladdin and I will always fight any of his wild schemes, and we will do our best to come out on top!

Lin-Z:
You've been a married woman for a short while. Do you and Aladdin still get attacked by monsters and villains as much as before you got hitched?

Jasmine:
Actually things have slowed down a bit in the last few months. We do still have to fight and be on guard but the number of attacks has lessened some.

Lin-Z:
How has married life been for you?

Jasmine:
Wonderful! It's really everything I thought it would be. I couldn't ask for a better husband.
