I am a Malaysian. I have a first class degree in mechanical engineering from UMIST, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the United Kingdom. After more than a year of industrial experience, I went to Singapore to pursue a Master degree in mechanical engineering, at the National University of Singapore. I am now a Research Officer at Institute of Materials Research and Engineerig, IMRE.

I guess after vast experiences in the industry, this is the way to settle down for my career, at least in the next five years. I previously worked as process engineer and product engineer at factory, and surveillance engineer at offshore oil platform.

Being a man of principle, I seldom tolerate myself to inferior quality and unreasonable agreements, although I seldom commit myself into serious dispute. I believe that trying to understand is much more practical than trying to be understood.

I play basketball and chess, but those were long time ago, I still play basketball and chess occasionally, but now I prefer talking to people. It is great fun when you start to understand your friends around, and start to have some ideas of what are in people's minds.

I come from a small village at the foot of a hill, and have spent a wonderful time until I left home for studies. I stayed in Labuan island before I was five, after which I stayed in Butterworth Australian Airbase until I was ten. Since I stayed in different places in my childhood, I have different stages of friends, and my family tie is strong. Sometimes it is good to be travelling, it widens our horizon and mind.
