Meathod: This effect is a very simple one requiring no skill but imagination. The meathod is that you have previously told the specator what card to pick. When you leave the room, he comes up, picks the already known to you card, and places it in his pocket. This effect can be done in the reverse also, having a sepctator leave and as you pick one or force one upon someone, have the spectator come back and name it. In both cases you must leave the notion that the trick involves brainwaves which is the reason you cant do it with everyone. Now that you know the meathos to this masterpiece, do with it what you desire, but remeber, ONLY ONE PERSON CAN BE IN ON THE SECRET, AND PICK SOMEONE YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST.
Another way that you can have the person who is in on it know what card to pick is that first pick someone who is in on it and knows what to look for. Then when explaining the trick, shuffle any card to the bottem and flash it toword the audience, no one will think anything of it except for your key person who will memorize it and then know he must pick that one. |
