"Your a little early," Lindsi gushed, soothing down her long locks as she held the door in her hand.
He laughed alittle, keeping his eyes from locking with hers, "Well, Tal wanted a ride..."
"Where's Tal?" She spat, peering past him as if she were looking for the short blond haired boy. Gil smirked, and followed her gaze back to his car which was parked on the side of the street.
"Tally wanted a ride to the mall, so that he could talk to Brooke as soon as she got done with work," He explained, leaning against the door frame and letting the water wall onto his trench coat.
"Oh, you mean, you didn't tell him that she was coming here right after work?" Linds muttered, hating the fact that her perfect plan was falling to pieces before her eyes.
"He knows, he just wanted to talk to her alone first," Gil grinned, "And if you didn't notice, it's raining out."
Lindsi laughed, "Sorry! Come in." He stepped inside, as he heard her quietly shut the door behind him. The room was small, consisting of a couch, a chair, entertainment center and a lonely lamp. It seemed cozy though, the walls painted a creamy color that matched the blue speckled carpet.
"So, you live here by yourself?" Gil questioned, raising an eyebrow in her direction.
"Of course not," She smirked, "I live here with my friend from Tennessee, Tyler. But don't worry, he's nothing more than a friend to me. Infact, I'm not even sure why we are living together, to get out I guess...We kind of hate each other sometimes."
"I kind of hate my brother sometimes, but I still love him." Gil muttered.
"Oh, I don't love Tyler," She laughed, "He's just my friend." After a few minutes of them standing there ackwardly staring at each other, Lindsi spoke up, "Well, let's pick out the first movie before Brookie gets here." She moved over by the couch and sat down next to the pile of movies she had sitting on the floor.
"What ones do you have?" Gil wondered, moving around the other side of the couch and sitting down next to her. His eyes focused on the carpet and not the movies, he noticed a small nickel size stain on the floor.
"What type do to you want to watch, comedy, action, horror," She looked up at him, "romance?" As she spoke he glanced up at her, his eyes glittering and his lips not more than two inches away from hers.
