Hunching over the vacumm cleaner at work, Laura felt her stomach being twisted into a thousand knots as she remember the fight her and Gil had earlier that day. Tears threatened to push past her eyelids as she remember ever little detail of the pain that was etched in his eyes as she screamed at him.
I have no idea what-so-ever. I'm sorry, for making your life a soap opera. Give, take, give, yank. I'm sorry. You sure as hell aren't making it worse than what it would be without you. We can never be friends. It's more than a privelege. Shut up. I'm cruel. It keeps me breathing. I'm sorry. We can never have anything. Never. It'll be lost, the feelings never seem to last.
Laura slumped to the ground, letting her forehead press against the back of the red vacumm cleaner. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she recalled everything that had been going on the past few days of her life. What she thought was perfect paradise had flipped upside down on her, and now, she was living in a nightmare. A nightmare that she couldn't wake up from.
"Oh my, Laura!" The manager, Becky cried running over to her side and kneeling down next to her. "What's wrong?" She muttered, rubbing Laura's back slightly as she stared intently at her face.
"Everything," Laura spat, running the back of her hand across her face to remove the tears that sat lifelessly on her cheeks.
"Why don't you go home, sweetie. You look horrible," Becky muttered, staring at her employees face for any sign of relief, but the wasn't any. All there showed was pain, hate and regret.
"No." She whined, "This helps keep my mind off of things..."
"Laura, It isn't helping you by being here," She assured, "Go on home, get some rest. I'll punch you out."
She nodded, standing up and brushing the tears off of her face as she wandered into the back room to get her jacket and purse. The second she was away from anyones eyes, she began to sob again, falling onto the floor next to the box of shipment that had come in that day.
Your a cynical little bitch. Your a little dumb. Fuck. Not a thing but care about yourself. Get out of her fucking life. We can never be friends. Can't see the real you. Shut up. Your only using her to get Gil. We can never have anything, never. I hate you. You NOT her fucking best friend. We can never be friends, Never. I hate...Never be friends, I hate you.
Laura growled under her breath, "I'm going to get that fucking bitch."
