Hidden Emotions
twenty-one

She stared in the mirror, her blue eyes were glittering and her highlighted brown hair fell gracefully past her shoulders. A grin slowly spread across her face as she reached out for her bag of make-up, of course she had to look good in order to do what she planned to. Unzipping the bag, she pulled out a tube of black mascara. She studied it momentaily before untwisting the top and pulling it open.

Just as she was about the grace the tips of her eye lashes with it, she heard the bathroom door swing open. "Leave," She stated calmly, knowing it was Tyler. He glanced her over, noting her super cute black sandals, low rise jeans and her favourite open-back black top.

"Are you going out tonight?" He asked, trying not to annoy her with his sudden questioning.

"Nope, they are coming here," Lindsi grinned, turning around so she was looking at him. Examining his face, she realized that something was on his mind, but she couldn't place it.

"Who is?" Tyler mumbled walking infront of the mirror and running a hand through his short brownish-blond locks.

"Gil, Tal, and..." She started, but was cut off.

"THEM?" Ty sneered, "Your letting them come over to our house? Are you fucking crazy?"

"Maybe," Lindsi laughed, pushing him away from the mirror so that she could finish applying her make-up.

"Why are they coming over anyways?" He muttered, "You never seem to want to hang out with them ever. Only once in a great while, and you don't ever invite them over here."

"Maybe I just want to be there friends," Lindsi snapped, "You know, they are Brooke's friends from way back when, it's not as if they are some psycho killers or anything. Plus, all we are going to do is watch some movies, and Brooke will be here after work."

"Brooke's coming?" Tyler suddenly spat.

"Yeah, but like you care anyways."

"Maybe I do."

Lindsi laughed, "That's a first, go play some playstation 2, why don't you? Leave me alone so I can get ready."

"I will, but I've got to tell you something first," Tyler stated, his voice almost shaking as he spoke.

"What? That you hate the Ofarim's?" Lindsi shot, "I know that Tyler, I know you hate them...but for tonight, you've got to suck it up. Deal with it, just this once."

"That and I'm not the only one thats going to be here tonight that isn't going to want them damn pricks here."
