   Lillian Abbeygail Miracle

                              Hello. I'm Lilly. Welcome to my website. My God-mommy T did this for me. She said I had a story to tell. She's right, I want to tell you about the struggle I faced as soon as I was born. That was a long time ago. Six Years! I am growing tall and stronger every day.

                              My mommy, being the wonderful mommy that she is, found out before I was born that something was wrong with my heart. It is called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She was so worried and so was everyone else. Everyone just prayed and prayed. The thing about my mommy was she believed in me more than anyone else and she knew I would be alright. This sent us all on a long journey to make me all better. 

                             My mommy went on a search to find someone to fix my heart and she did. They said I would have to have a major surgery as soon as I was born. This scared my mommy, but she was so brave for me, because it scared her more to lose me. My big sister Alexa was there to talk to me in my mommy's tummy and I loved to hear her tell me all the things we would do when I got all better.

                   Finally on December 15, 1998 I was born!! What a coincidence! That's also my daddy's birthday!! I never told them I planned it that way, so let's just keep it between you and me, ok? My mommy had the idea to have a group for other children like me and to tell them what I went through to be here. She said she wanted to help mommies and daddies find the information she couldn't find that would help them.  So she called up my God-mommy and told her the plan. My God-mommy said "Great, I'll help you set it up." Mommy named the group after me, too. Wasn't that nice? So if you want to know more about me go to Lil Miracle Heart Group and join! 

                   We have lots of pictures there. Even pictures of my brand new baby sister, Emily. You can ask us all sorts of questions about HLHS and we will try to help answer them. I was just a tiny little baby with half a heart, but with lots of love and help from my doctors, I'm now a beautiful young lady of six years old.
