Hello!
My name is Payton Huber!
I am 21 and a senior in college. Over the last four years, my mindset and career path has chanded quite a bit, leaving me with an unfortunately short amount of time to study graphics.
This certainly has not led to a lack of achievement though. As of Summer 2018, I have been studying graphic design at an accelerated pace and taking in as much as I can. I have figured out a lot about myself and this field of work since beginning my first class in May.
It all began last spring, when I began a class entitled, "Introduction to Photoshop" I was instantly hooked on the topic and desperetly wanted more than the less-than-stellar programs offered at my school.
After talking it over endlessly with my advisor and numerous others, it became clear that in order to recieve the training for the job I had finally found a passion for, I would need to look elsewhere. Not willing to transfer, I soon learned of an alternative: a self-designed major.
After what seemed like months - though it was really only a week or so - I had finished a monstrous paper and submitted it as my proposal towards the subject. Those involved thought initially that this approach was a bit over the top, however, my case was made and the proposal was approvedsoon after it was submitted.
In the technical department, I am most comfortable with programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
My strong suit is certainly not web design; however, I am making strides and beginning to understand the in's and out's of the tricky practice.
I enjoy drawing, playing video games, and tearing apart movies and advertisements.
