Here is the camper right after it broke down --- a few hours after I bought it! I had to have it towed to Kingsport, TN from Northern Virginia! On the way down, while it was still driveable, we decided to name it Mr. Sunshine. It's old name given by the previous owner was the "Turd", and we think we know why. We thought this new name would make the camper "happier." |

Here is the camper at Greg's in Kingsport (my mechanic at his shop called Blue Ridge Motor Works) -- wouldn't know what to do without him! |

Here is an exterior photo before I did anyhing to it; it didn't need too much attention on the outside. |

Here is a picture of the interior from the back. The rear cabinet is the only one that is in good shape. Well, that and the child climbing around in the front; Isabella was inspecting the camper for structural integrity. . . or something of the sort. |

Here is the front -- no kick panels, the seat coverings are torn up, the paddings are decayed and the doorpanels are rotten; the dash is uncracked, though. |

Here is a photo of the interior from the sliding door on the side. The cabinet laminate is restored with contact paper (witch looks pitiful at this stage), and underneath it, much of the original laminate is chipped off. The back seats and curtains are in terrible shape with ripped faded uphulstry and torn padding, and all of the wall panelling is split from sun damage. What you can't see is the carpet, which is also deteriorated by wear and irrepairable stains. The pop-top canvas is dry-rotted and beyond repair as well. |
