Our puppies go to their new homes well socialized and medically complete (tails docked, dew claws removed, ears cropping is your expense, and up to date on vaccinations and wormings). All of our puppies are raised in the house and are handled daily. As they mature, the puppies are exposed to other human contact, including children, other dogs and pets. This ensures that each puppy will have a good start in dealing with any situation that might arise in his or her new home. We stress that since they leave Lil Darlin's as puppies, they need continued socialization and training from their new owners. We are here to help if the new owner needs any advice, training tips, or information.

We screen each potential purchaser and require 2 references. We ask that each potential purchaser fill out our questionnaire that will enable us to better match you with that perfect puppy. If you are considering purchasing a puppy from us, please take the time to fill out the questionnaire below. This is required to start the process of purchasing from  Lil Darlin's. This ensures that personalities, activeness and temperament are well matched and the puppy will be a cherished family member for a long time to come. Too many buyers rush into purchasing a puppy or dog and forget to research the breed or don't consider matching the dog or puppy with the person or family's lifestyle. These puppies and dogs eventually get turned into shelters, rescues or even worse dumped or neglected.

We accept deposits to reserve a future puppy ($50 deposit) or hold a puppy (already whelped) until he or she is ready to leave  Lil Darlin's (half the purchase price).

If you are reserving a puppy from a future/planned breeding, the $50 deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards the purchase price. You will be kept updated on the breeding, pregnancy and whelping. The second deposit/payment is due when the pup is 3 weeks old. The second payment is half the purchase price minus the $50 deposit. Final payment is due at pickup or before shipping. If your choice is not whelped, then you will remain on the waiting list for other breedings, unless you notify us to be removed.

If you are purchasing a puppy that is already whelped, a non-refundable deposit of half the purchase price is required to hold that puppy until he or she is ready to leave Lil Darlin's.

For those having their puppies shipped, please allow plenty of time for your final payment to arrive and for us to set up all shipping arrangements. It takes us about 3 days, generally, from receiving your final payment to ship the puppy. We have to purchase the crate and also set up an appointment with our veterinarian to obtain the health certificate. So don't wait until the day before you want your puppy shipped to get the payment to us. We suggest sending your final payment in about a week ahead of time to ensure having your puppy shipped on your desired date.

We can and do ship puppies to most locations. Shipping charges are $190.00. This includes the flight cost, health certificate and crate. We do have stipulations on shipping. The above quoted price is for shipping cargo on Delta, TWA and US Air within the continental United States. If the puppy is to have more than one layover or too long of a layover, we require that the puppy be shipped using Delta Dash. This service expedites the pups arrival to you. It does cost more, generally about about $50 more than the above price. Remember to check with us to see if we can ship to your nearest airport. We cannot ship dogs with temperature too cold or too hot (above 85 degrees).
