This page is in loving memory of our two angels. William P. Walsh was born December 31, 1953. He was a beautiful child, some said later he was too perfect to live long on this earth and in July of 1954 he went to be with Jesus. Matthew L. Walsh was stillborn on August 29, 1959. These are my treasures in Heaven. Children belong to God. We are given the privilege of loving and caring for them while they are with us. Everyone who has ever loved and had to say goodbye to a child knows the heartache. Only time can lessen the pain. I now can say I have treasures in Heaven and this gives me even more incentive to make Heaven my home. While our Billy lived and while I carried Matt we had a taste of Heaven. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour have the promise of eternal life with those children and Jesus. I found a poem that reminded me of my heavenly treasures and wanted to share it with you.

Little Angels
When God Calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world,
seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud,
before it can grow old.
~~~~~
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few
To make the land of Heaven more
beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still
somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be 'Goodbye."
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.
