How can someone be so insensitive to my feelings?
Sing a song to me when I asked to be heard?
Laugh when I need to be comforted?
All I need to know is that they feel the same way I do...
The way I'm feeling blue...

Why do people elect you to throw you to the pits?
Why must they experiment on you like a guinea pig?
Why must they empower you and brainwash your very being?
All I need to know is that they don't act the way they do....
Especially when I'm feeling blue...

How could anyone love me and why do they even care?
What do they see in me that illuminates me more than the others?
How come you're so happy when I'm always around you?
