This page (as mentioned by the title) contains my poetry. In it I have a vast-ish range of different poetry types about different subjects. (just in case you are wondering, the sound in the background of the poetry section is me trying out an intro that I invented.) The first poem entered is about my work experience at my local library. I worked there for a fortnight finding out what the library system was all about.
This is a new poem, so feel free To listen to my story of the library. My outfit for this time was smart. I arrived at work with a smiling heart. Every day I had two hours total break. This was a breather I was glad to take. On the computers I sorted lots of books, Some about sewing, some about cooks. With alphabetizing, I was at my best, Although doing so made quite a mess. The best part was when I could take away Any books that I liked that were withdrawn - hooray! On the computers I taught a game To a member of staff - Solitaire was its name. There were embarrassing moments I fear And I know most of you will want to hear. No one warned me about the trolleys - oh brother! When you push them one way, they go another! The staffroom door lock puzzled me too And - please don't laugh, I'm begging you - For a week and a half I typed the wrong code Until somebody told me - a debt I was owed! But through these difficulties, I really had fun. I'd recommend this placement to anyone. With the skills that I learned and the friendly staff, Did I enjoy myself - not half!
