Hereby I want to inform you that you can play Magic: the Gathering on your computer
vs other people using the program Apprentice. Players meet eachother on IRC. I would
advise using mIRC for this matter. Both Apprentice and mIRC can be downloaded from the
download section of the MTG Online site.
This magic league organises an online T2 tourney almost each Friday night. You can also win prizes there! The channel of this league is #MTGOnline on Innernet on IRC.
There's also another league organising tourneys. This is
the Magic4You-League. Their channel is #MagicLeague on IcENET (chronic.uk.icenet.org.za). They also have prize tournaments and they have a special feature, which enables you to play a 1on1 game for ranking vs any member who is online when you are. So you can always play for ranking!
Dutch Magic-players are to be found in #mtg.nl on InnerNET currently. Dutch channel regulars are vdMandele, theBrain, Dirkjan, Nico, Koen, MarcusC, frank01, Rob- and tjov. Other notable visitors are: nold, hydro, jfink, Kaesh, whistler, GoRaTRiXX, Ronfar, Aant, Karn, Pluck, Mar|ne, and Daustin.
