A lot of dudes out there wana take up skateboarding but dont know how to. Fortunately for this dudette, I had a couple of friens who brought out what I knew I had but didn't know how to put it into action. Now I am still a begginer, but the fact is to be a good skater you have to be one at heart. Knowing the theory of what you are doing is how you can improve. What I have done is researched everything I needed to know about buying boards, clothes (not because I wanted to look like one but 'cause I like it) different boards, the terms so I could be 'up to sdate' with the different lingo, tricks (so I can show off of coarse!) And different skaters, so I can look up all their tricks and show my friends that a hell of a lota skaters ar fit. Being a girl skater is what my friends think is odd, the only inspiration I got is off a few of lad friends who skate, blade, BMX and god knows what else! These guys really encouraged me, Lweis inparticular was the person who really got me started, helping find cheap decks that didn't matter if I broke them in week one and taught me a few of the odd tricks that aren't listed ;) In town I have only ever seen 1 lass skater. Nower days there are tonns of lad skaters, most doing it 'cause it's the fashion or 'cause it'll impress girls. Well I must admit my friends love to see cute guys with a board in hand. I find it far more attractive if I get a glimse of a cute lad rushing by on his skateboard tic-tacing to gather speed to do a fakie ollie heelflip up a curb. Far more impressive. So past all my waffling bout cute lads and why I've done all this. It's time you go and look through my pages taking in all of what I have told you about the tricks not the looks being impressive.
