| THE TAMARASHA SYMBOL |
| This symbol is pronounced Tam - a - rar - sha. It is the only symbol I have known to be taught with Reiki First Degree although I have come across many healers and Masters who are not familiar with this symbol, and some believe that it belongs to other healing modalities. That being said - I teach it during first degree level and also use it in all my attunements. This is the way I was taught by my Masters and the way I continue to teach. On my journey, I have connected with many healers attuned to Reiki who were not attuned with this symbol and did not know of it and its uses. These healers displayed similar symptoms such as headaches, dizziness and even nausea while healing: being ungrounded and scattered. After they were reattuned with the symbol, these symptoms disappeared. If you are one who has no knowledge of the Tamarasha symbol, but are NOT experiencing any of the symptoms I have mentioned, please don't feel that you need to be reattuned. However, if you read about the Tamarasha symbol and feel guided to incorporate it in your healings and attunements, find someone who can reattune you or contact me for more details. The energy of the symbol can be activated either by drawing the symbol in the air or visualize it being drawn in your mind. Once the Tamarasha energy has been activated, it grounds and balances the energy of the person or situation that you are healing. It can be used in hands on healing or it can be signed and 'dropped' in a specific area. It can also be included in the distance healing methods used in Reiki second degree. Q : WHEN DO YOU USE THE TAMARASHA? The following examples are all situations where the Tamarasha symbol may be used. If your children are being overly rowdy and you can sense they are feeling a little flighty or jittery, you can either drop the Tmarasha in the area they are playing or give them a cuddle, visualize and activate the energy allowing it to flow through you and into them. This behaviour often happens on windy days, at a party or if something has happened at school perhaps that has stressed your child. The main things is to balance their energy levels using the Tamarasha symbol and restore their equilibrium. You can sign the symbol as many times as you feel it is necessary. If someone has received a shock or has been involved in a traumatic situation, you can also use thios symbol by placing one hand on their back in the area around the heart and solar chakras, signing the symbol in your mind and allowing the energy to flow through you and into them. This can be done without the other person knowing as it is second nature to place a protective arm around someone you care for who has been traumatized. Often, during a shock, energy is scattered and pounding through the body, so the Tamarasha is a good symbol to use in that situation to help calm the flow of energy down and create balance within the body. If someone is in shock, the soul may also have left the body partially and the Tamarasha grounds the soul back into the physical level. When doing healing work, the Tamarasha symbol during or after a session will help the person to be grounded. Often during a healing, the soul flies free and the Tamarasha energies gently and lovingly help the soul to return fully to the physical body when the healing session has finished. If a healing crisis occurs during a healing, the Tamarasha will help to ground the person and balance their energy during the release. It helps to bring and maintain calm while healing tears are shed and realizations made. At all times, the healer must keep their hands on. Many healers set up the symbol before the healing begins to ensure that all goes smoothly. I have also used this symbol to get rid of headaches if they are caused by stress or frenetic energy. Also, during the attunement process I will be guided to use the symbol more with some people than with others, making each attunement an individual thing. TAMARASHA AND THE CHAKRAS The Tamarasha symbol is also excellent for grounding and balancing our chakras (energy centers). As we know, these centers can often be out of alignement or off balance for all sorts of reasons, and the Tamarasha symbol can help to realign or correct the imbalance beautifully. An easy exercise for you to do can easily be done last thing at night or first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. Starting with your base chakra, place your hands on your body, sign the Tamarasha symbol and allow the energy to flow into your chakra along with your Reiki energy. Keep your hands on for a few minutes and then move on to the next chakra. Continue moving from chakra to chakra, signing the symbol and allowing the energy to flow with the Reiki for as long or as short a time as you are guided. Tamarasha symbol continued....... |
