An old picture of me giving myself a headlock. Even now i look at this picture and it amazes me how "real" this came out. The idea came out from someone on the RyanW forums saying that he would give his brother a noogie because of him spamming the forum, i thought to myself he'd have to give himself a noogie. Then the idea sprang out.
An oldish video of me holding a glass ball of fire. I still love this video because of how it seems so real, the clouds in the ball, the pressure of the ball landing on my hand, the way my eyes follow its every movement. Bliss! The tutorial on how to make the glass fire ball can be found here. The clouds were made by me.
A before and after picture of being in a bar room brawl. I love this picture! My friend sent me a picture of his friend shaking his head really fast (hence the lightly deformed mouth) and said that i could do something with it...and heres my result. I must be sick in the head or something.

Mr Dick. He is complete. Decided to leave his name as Mr Dick because, well, I kinda grew fond of that name and it is slightly humorous when that most of his distinguishing features look like the male genitalia. I have also rigged him up so that his bones will move accordingly. I will post a video of him walking should he gain popularity. Anyway, constructive critiscm is welcome - [email protected] - or just post in the guestbook if you will.
X-Wing. For my list of things to do this summer there was :- Mr Dick, a spaceship and the Horned Reaper from Dungeon Keeper. Well, I dont really want to do the horned reaper anymore and I've completed Mr Dick but there is still the spaceship. So, I give you an X-wing! Now, I know the idea of modelling an X-wing isnt very original and i've seen it done a zillion times...maybe, but I wanted to do it nonetheless and I believe the result came out rather good. Still, any constructive critiscm is welcome as always.
Tie Fighter. .......wow. That all I can say. Its taken me about 3 days to model this. This! Thats about half the time it took to model my X-Wing and it came out better, in my opinion. Dont know what to say now, except, whoooo! Although, you might feel different, If you do give us call using an email or the guestbook.
Clone Lightsabre video. With a bit of persuasion i've finally got this up for your googley eyes to look at. This video is quite old, I think I might have shaved and grown my hair about 3 times after this video. Update - This video is finally up for all to see!
S.L.L. Here we go, S.L.L. A film done by Fil and I with a super duper camera that Fil "borrowed" from college! Anyway, should give you a chuckle or two. For the record, It may look it but I was NOT intoxicated on anything. I was pissed though. Update - This video is now available for download once again, thanks to Youtube
Knight Adventure. This is my first Computer-Generated (CG) short film I have created so I am quite proud of it. The story is about a battle weary knight who finds a sleeping woman within a cave. Anyway, enjoy. Update - My grade for this video was B/C.
BartonCC video being made by me and the help of some others
Chaos Knight. This is a 'Chaos Knight' I did for a trailer of a film but it was decided that someone else would do the chaos knight's, thats the reason why some parts are not finetuned. But I liked it so much and I haven't put anything here for a while I thought I would post it. Gimme your comments please.
Zombie Adaption. SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND THIS VIDEO TOO EXTREME SO BEWARE - THERE ARE LOTS OF IMAGES OF BLOOD This is a short zombie film created by Philip Smith and John Gadenne for a Media Asessment and I played the part of the 'zombie'. I thought that this was brilliant and so I had to stick it on me website for eveyone to take a looksy. Thanks to Youtube for hosting it.
Showreel My showreel for 2007 is now online and ready for your viewing pleasure The clips in this video are made before April of 2007 and were all created by myself except for the music which is Joe Satriani's Power Cosmic.
Plan of Action Three Pirates meet up and discuss plans to assassinate a corporate leader. For college I was given the assignment to create a short monologue, this is what I came up with. Actors are Steven Walker, Matthew Cook and myself. Music was created by Fil Smith
