| What's with Marvel comics at the moment? Where on earth are the storylines akin to the memorable days of Onslaught, Bastion, The Dark Phoenix Saga and the stuff that made X-Men so amazing *back in the day*? I'm having some issues with Marvel at the moment, the only thing that seems to have picked the X-Men up a little at the moment is The House of M, and that's taken a lot of de-powering a lot of X-Men to get people's attention again. Is all the movie attention taking Marvel away from the very things that the movie came from..the comics? Just something i've been thinking about lately...i haven't bought a comic book for a while.... |

| I apologise for being so behind in everything, life gets in the way, you know how it all gets, and i read less and less on the comic book front. The last one i read with any of the ladies involved was Wolverine Origins which has lately featured Jubilee,albeit a de-powered Jubilee who is currently running a refuge for mutants who no longer have any powers. I was a little disappointed at the small cameo of Psylocke in X-men:The Last stand and i had really high hopes for Dark Phoenix but according to the tabloid types, Halle Berry was the one who wanted to be in everyone's face, so Dark Phoenix, depsite her being a huge force,got quite toned down. I did love what she did, but i wanted so much more!!! I sound very disillusioned i know, but i do still think the world of Marvel, but with all these films on the brink, what can we expect from thr original pages and birthplace of these amazing characters?!! Something on the brink of happening however is a new RPG about to start on the 11th January: X-CELL is an RPG based around the Civil War events happening in Marvel comics. It is a continuation of another rpg but you don't have to have been involved in that one to join this one.
