Unique Features: Golden and Brown hair. Appearance: Semi short, black hair with golden bangs in front. Big round olive green eyes and cream colored skin. He's slightly muscled and looks strong for his age. Overall: When you first see Hikaru he looks like the most playful, friendly guy you have ever seen. He's the type of person that can lighten your day and make you feel good to be alive. You can tell that he's good to his friends and most people that meet him want to be in that list. He also has a way of making enemies of bad hearted people, but he doesn't much care. He'll fight but not cause he want to defeat them or anything. In reality they bore him. Though some might freak out when Hikaru's mind jumbles (read rest of bio to understand). That is unless they are already used to it. Clothing Preference: Regular pants and shirts. He don't like anything fancy. But he doesn't dress like a bum either. He likes to wear a jacket over his clothes always. But he never ever wears uniforms. He hates the things and the fact that they make him look like everyone else. He will wear fancy suits for formal occasions, but never the tie. They make him feel like a stuffed taco. *Character: Demon Visual * Height: 50 ft. long. Weight: 60 tons. Unique Features: Golden and Orange colored scales. Appearance: An eastern or Chinese dragon, Hikaru has a long snake like body. With golden and orange scales all over it. He has the typical short legs with very sharp claws. He also has Long silk like hair also in a gold color covering his tail and running down his back and head like the main on a horse. Overall: When anyone sees Hikaru in his demonic form you. They typically will be scared to death. he gives the image of a man-eater, but in reality he is not. Once you figure out that the looks are just for scaring the unwanted off, you relax. If you aren't dead yet, then he obviously wanted you there, So yeah, You can relax. It is then that you start to love the huge beast. Clothing Preference: N/A (If you ever see a dragon in clothes tell me...So I can crack up. XP) *Character: Inner Basic* Personality: Hikaru is a leader, inspiring confidence from all around you. He is well-liked by his friends for his honesty and patience. When he makes a commitment he keeps his word. He is persistent in reaching his goals. Trustworthiness, practicality and organization are the foundation stones of his strong and solid character. However, underneath that calm exterior, he can be stubborn and hot-headed. Pragmatic and down-to-earth, he is motivated to work hard and have no respect for lazy or careless people. Although he can be easily trusted and find it easy to put trust in others. He is not dependent on friends and family and would rather find an answer or a solution themselves than to ask these people for help or guidance. However, others can, without a doubt rely on him. He is always honest and meticulous about his responsibilities. While he does not feel the need for many distant or acquaintance-oriented friendships, he values the strong bonds he shares with his partners and families, and makes close friends that last a lifetime. Though he is quite open-minded, once he has made a decision about something, he rarely changes it. This is a defining characteristic that can be seen as obstinacy, but it is actually the way he learns to be strong, brave and straightforward. It is the way he learned to take on tasks and responsibilities and how he learns to be reliable for others. He is more comfortable with the well-known as opposed to the unfamiliar. Hikaru's mind can sometimes change ages. Though none but his closest and most trusted know the trauma that caused this, others can see the trauma clearly. He can be in the middle of a very adult conversation and suddenly talk and act like he is a young child or teen again. Prized Possession: His treasure. *Character: Existence * Origin: Shikoku region of Japan Lives in: Tokyo, Japan. Housing: The top floor of the biggest and most secure building in Tokyo. He is actually the only one ho lives there. The rest of the building is a bank offices. The bank allows him to live there since it's easier to keep their best customer safe that way. --Might move in with someone else; Though he would still keep his treasures in the bank's top floor. Love Life: None **Has gone through several crushes who will remain unnamed** Future Love: Not specified yet Social Life: He can be the life of the party when he wants to be. He gets along with anyone at a party, and can talk about just anything. But he has his 'i want to alone times' too. When he's like this, please do leave him alone. At these times he will seldom go anywhere and if he does it's usually caused he's being pushed to do so by someone. Character: Combatant Weapon(s): *Fire breath *Dragon's Tooth Dagger- Forged with the mystical powers of the dragon, the Dragon Tooth is from an ancient world of mysticism and dark powers. Overall Length: 6 3/8" Blade Length: 3 3/4" Blade Thickness: 1/8" Blade Material: Stainless steel with actual dragon tooth mixed into it. (Single edged.) *Double-Headed Dragon- Design originated in the Orient, The dragon, beautifully crafted in unbreakable steel, splits at the center to reveal twin triangular-section blades, each sheathed within the opposing half of the dragon's body. (Double edge in each blade.) Overall Length: 8 3/4 " Blade Length: 3 1/2" Weight: 8 oz per dagger (Both blades are hidden inside Hikaru's clothes and can not be seen by a normal human's eyes unless Hiraku so wishes it. Both blades also will not let anyone but Hikaru or one of his blood family touch them. If this happens the blades and sheath will get as hot as Dragon's breath.) Battle Skill Specialty: Attacks while in flight with his fire breath when in his dragon form. When in his human form he uses his blades to protect himself. Battle Skill Flaw: Doesn't care much for fighting and will only do it if he really really has too. Doesn't train to attack much either. Element: Fire *Character: Actual Life * History: When Kano and Anzu meet they new at once that they should mate. Although Anzu did not make it easy for Kano, for no self respecting dragon female does. But she was gloriously happy when Kano caught her. He had been her chosen male in the first place and indeed she would have been terribly saddened if another male had caught her. Their mating was the happiest thing that ever happened to her. Once she was found out she was going to lay eggs, she was the happiest dragon on earth once more. She and Kano spent her entire pregnancy making the biggest, most and most regal nest ever. With everything from gold and rubies to the most rare blue diamonds they built it. Then it happened and the eggs where laid. She was happy to have 5 eggs in total. Kano was ecstatic. Thought they didn't know if any where male, Kano hoped that at least one was. Two months later he got his wish. Slowly all the little wyrmling started hatching. One by one their parents feed them and cared for them. Kano was happy with his babies. But sad that they all seemed to be girls. Four had hatched and then Kano saw that one was late. He poked at it with his nose, and was happy when the baby inside kicked back. Anzu looked at the late one too and poked it harder with her nose to help the late one come out. Kano made a howl of happiness when the littlest one finally made it out with a loud squeak and little roar like sounds of hunger. He had his boy. He quickly feed the little one and named it Hikaru for he was the lightest of all his little ones. His mother named him Kin, for she thought of him as precious as gold. The little Wyrmlings grew in strength and size and Hikaru quickly out grew all of his sisters. Which hated this fact, for they had been the biggest most of their young lives. The parents watched and cared for them, vigilantly. Not letting them out of their sights for the most time. Hikaru acted like he didn't mind, but he didn't like it either. He wanted to learn things for himself. His father grew prouder and prouder of child. Loving his independence and strength. But still he taught Hikaru that sometimes the help of others was needed. Hikaru reluctantly agreed but still tried to do things his way at first. Their lives where happy and carefree...Until one day Kano got the news that an attack had happened on another golden dragon family close by to his. Nothing was known of how or who had done it, but who ever it was had left none alive. Kano was horrified. None but the most powerful demon would dare attack a dragon and those seldom cared enough to do so. Besides all of the demons had disappeared. So who or what could it have been? They tried not to let things bother them and when Anzu heard that her dear friend the Forest Goddess had a son, she urged her mate to go and visit her. Which they did, taking all of their dragonets with them. Hikaru and his sisters where now 51 and old enough to understand what was happening around them. But they faked a smile, and continued their lives as best they could. the goddess was kind and her mate was as well. Hikaru had no problems getting to like them. They stayed with them in their temple for a few days and them went back home. He got his answer in the year 1990. Kano had sent Hikaru to The goddess temple for aid. The attacks had gotten worse and now they where the only family of Golden Dragon's left. By the time Hikaru went and came back with help and with Yukio himself it was too late........ Hikaru got to the cave that was his home, and found it silent and dark. Carefully going in and lighting the torches. He saw nothing inside. Going in deeper he found nothing still. Where was his family? When Yukio called him, he got happy again, It must be his family he thought. They where probably out hunting or something. He tried to tell himself as he flew in great speed out of the cave and got to where Yukio was. It was then that Hikaru's roars and cries where heard through out. There lay his family. Dead and quartered at the base of their mountain cave. and none where left alive to speak of who it had been that had done the killings. Yukio stood by the young dragon's side and comforted as best he could. In the end he took a distraught and silent Hikaru back with him. His mate and him placed Hikaru under their protection and gave him a room of his own in their temple. But as the days they grew more and more. They grew more and more worried for the young dragon. He wouldn't eat, neither would he leave his room. Months passed and the only thing they where able to get him to eat were Roasted Swallow. they knew it was his favorite so he would not be able to refuse them, but even with that they watched him decline more and more. Until they grew worried that they would loose this dragon as well. It was here at the weirdest but cutest friendship started. For you see Hikaru, the young son of Yukio and his goddess mate was 3 years old when he saw his father bring the huge fierce looking dragon to his home. But he was explained by his mother who and what the dragon was. The child however grew more and more curious and worried over their new guest when he saw his parents worry too. So he would sneak into Hikaru's room without fear at all and lay with there on top of the dragon's massive claw. Sometimes he would even play on top of him. Something that surprised Hikaru, but it didn't bother him. On the contrary he actually liked watching "The little plant" as he called Akira play around on him. It reminded him of when he and his sisters used to rumble together. One day little Akira surprised his mother with a question she did not think a child that age could ask. " Can daddy and you kill the ones that made Hikaru sad mommy? " Akira asked with all the seriousness in the world The goddess stood there surprised, but she kneeled in front of her son and looked him straight in the eye. " One day we will know who took our friends from us Akira. Then the gods and I will pass judgment on them. Until then all we can do is make try to make Hikaru happy again. It's not going to be easy, Ok..." She said kindly to her son, hopping his little mind understood. Surprisingly Akira did understand. He looked in the direction of Hikaru's room and nodded a yes to his mother. A couple of hours later, Akira could be seen marching through out the temple halls with a tray full of Roasted swallows, he could hardly carry them, but he did not drop a single one. His parents looked on astonished as to what their son was doing. They peaked into Hikaru's room after their son had gone in, and where surprised to see Akira actually opening Hikaru's huge mouth and throwing the roasted swallows in, then ordering Hikaru with a very authoritary voice to eat them. Hiraku thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. So funny that he just laughed for the first time in the months since he had been there. He laughed and ate. Yukio and his mate where happy beyond words, if things continued like that then the young dragon would be saved, and they couldn't believe they owed it all to their little Akira. Time heals all wounds. Time healed that one too, or at least it seemed too. For Hikaru did get better. He did get stronger, with the continued support of Akira and his parents. He got well. Once he figured out that his parents and sisters would not want to see him dead as well, that was. Once he figured that out he began to follow Yukio's instruction and began to eat on his own. As Akira grew, they would spend time together and train. Hikaru would turn to his human form (Which was only two years bigger than Akira) and they would run through out the temple grounds chasing each other and being boys. Years passed and Hikaru grew. Six years before Akira's 14th. birthday. Hikaru had to leave. The remaining Eastern Dragons had visited the Goddess and explained to her that there where things in life that she and a snake demon would not be able to teach a young dragon. The goddess reluctantly agreed. Her and her mate spoke to Hikaru who agreed to go with the elders. Much to the dislike of Akira who was loosing his only friend. Hikaru and Akira both cried as Akira said his good bye to Hikaru. The young dragon hugged his younger friend and smiled at him. " A dragon never says good bye. Only good journey. So wish me a good journey. " Hikaru said faking a a smile for his friend even as tears rolled down his cheeks. " Then Good Journey Hikaru. " Akira said trying to be brave. " May the roads of my life lead me back to you again. " Hikaru said smiling. He transformed into his massive dragon form and after he was done he took off one of his golden scales and gave it to Akira. Who took it and bowed in honor, knowing that dragons did not do this for everyone, and it was a very high honor to receive one. Hikaru bowed to his friend and to Yukio and his lady mate. Then flew into the sky with the Elder dragons. Leaving his former friends and caretakers to marvel at the beauty that was a dragon in flight; And to wonder who could be heartless enough to kill such a magnificent creature. Little did any one know that the Goddess had placed a protection spell on Hikaru. So if ever his life was in danger her power as a goddess would activate and he would be brought straight to her. Six more years passed and Hikaru finished his teachings with "The Great Wyrms" (elder dragons). Finally he was old enough to go out into he world on his own. He was 65 years old. The Great Wyrms told him to pick a spot where he wanted to settle down. He looked at the world carefully and finally decided on Tokyo not knowing that his old friend Akira was heading for the same city. The Wyrms found his choice strange but allowed him to go none the less. Giving him the treasure that they had recovered from his family's cave, and bowing. They allowed the young dragon to go out into the world. Hikaru cried as he flew off to Tokyo holding to his great chest the last of his family's worldly possessions. His first landing spot was the temple he had left 6 years before. much to his dismay his friend was no longer there. But when he found out Akira was in Tokyo he was happy once more. The goddess promised to send the treasure when Hikaru was settled and Hikaru was off once more. It was Yukio who called his son and told him that Hikaru was on his way there and started laughing when his son jumped and showed his joy even over the phone. Hikaru got to Tokyo and at once found the only place that was suitable to him. It took some talking and a lot of convincing but he did it. He got the most powerful bank in Japan to let him live on the top of the highest building in Tokyo. he made the place comfortable for him and then his treasure arrived. Making the bankers fall backwards when they saw it all being carried in under the careful watch of Hikaru. Though they asked how it was that such a young man had acquired it. All Hikaru said was that it was a family inheritance. Which was not a lie at all, but he couldn't very well tell them it was dragon treasure now could he. Nope he couldn't. The rest of his time before he had to enroll in school was spent with Akira. He loved getting to be with his friend again; and though Akira had changed and gotten more serious than ever.
