The Tao is the Way, the ineffable unchanging essence and principle of everything in heaven and on earth. This metaphysical absolute produces and sustains all things, but without intent or struggle. To accord whit the Way one mush be without desires, intentions or volitions. 'There is nothing right or wrong, but thinkking make it so,' said William Shakespeare in the lates age. The quest of Tao aims to go beyond the human contructs of good and bad, or sickness and health, and to achieve serenity. The Origins of Taoism
