Christians are
people who acknowledge Jesus Christ as the son of God and seek to
follow his teaching. They believe that Jesus lived, suffering and died
as a man on earth, and that by his death and resurrection from the
dead the sins of the world are paid for and so wiped away. This belief
can find very different expression, and can be interpreted in many
ways. At the heart of Christianity is personal faith in Jesus, the
practice of prayer and contemplation, and a share live in the Church.
Christianity is the most widespread religion in the world.
