| As writers aiming at a particular market we like to keep our word counts the same as what we have found popular magazines use. Short story: Up to 1500 words. Poetry: Up to 40 lines. Children�s short story: Up to 1000 words. Young Adult: Up to 1500 words. Article: Up to 1000 words. Descriptive Prose: Up to 500 words. These are not set in stone, members may bring longer pieces of work. |
