Architects, Planners, Preservationists, and Designers Edmond
Bacon has lived long enough to
become a legend within his own lifetime. His
vision of a vital city, nourished by the flow of its citizens, led to the
revitalization of Center City Philadelphia and Society Hill. His belief in his
ideas and his patient planting of the seeds of his ideas resulted in
the vitality he envisioned. M. Robbins Black has won accolades from her peers for the interior design of a 179 foot yacht, Rebecca, for which she did the interior design. Ralph Bender is
founder and CEO of Bender and Associates, an architectural consulting firm. He
is also a life-long athlete who doesn’t do things part way.

has taken him onto the board of the Olympic committee for that sport.
Ted
Flato, one of the
principals in the award winning architectural firm, Lake/Flato architects,
worked with O’Neill Ford who paired him with his partner David Lake. Together
they have built an architectural firm that is recognized for its integration
with the environment, environmental sensitivity, and functionality. Bruce MacDougal
has an eye for architecture and a talent for administration. His interest in
historic preservation was picqued when,
at an early age, he saw the fight over the destruction of historic buildings in
the small community in which he was raised. As executive director for the
influential San Antonio Conservation Society, he has worked with the board to
continue the fight to preserve our architectural heritage. Robin Taylor designs interiors of medical facilities for patients with aids and altzheimer disease.
