Hey Group!

I've been getting all kinds of questions regarding the moral character of LIFE! Group. I would like to take this moment to address a few of the questions:

Question: I heard in a chat room that you were a weird, sex group...holding sex parties.
Damn, I must have missed that party.....who was the activity coordinator for that?....You go away for one weekend.... Well, sadly I must say.....we're not a sex group....But happily, I'm really not opposed to any suggestions. Just set up a time, place, etc. and we'll post it to the calendar! Diversity is our middle name! Something for everyone! I'll volunteer to be towel girl!

Question: Are you a bunch of wild, drunken women?
Drunken, wild women....depends on how you look at it....when you're looking at it ....where you're looking at it from....what time of night you're looking at it ... Naaaaw! No way! Get real! Too many of us are on heavy medication or parole......Just joking!!! ...But again, diversity! Just set a time, place, etc...

Question: I've heard that you're a fornicating circle of women....
Hmmm, well for approximately 200 women to do the bunny-boink-bed-boogie with each other...taking into consideration prep time for dates......it would take a really, rrreeeaaallly long time for this to actually be feasible...Well, maybe someone can do the math and get back to me....Okay, whatever you women want....I think we're going to need at least 2 activity coordinators for this....It's your group women, whatever you want!

Question: I heard that you're a group of boring, middle-aged women....
WHAAAAAAAT!?! BORING!?! We are not!....We're ...WE ARE wild, boinking bunnies....conga-line dancing, crazy, drunken....hippity-hopping....bed bouncin'...CRAZY WOMEN!.....with baskets full of sex, beer and stuff.....WHO are you calling, middle-aged!!??!! Where did you get this rumor from? How do horrible rumors like this get started!?!

Seriously now, we are a group of professional, responsible woman, looking for a sense of community, friendship... yada, yada, yada, whatever.

And now for the News:

We're back in the Blade! LIFE! Group is again on the list of area groups, welcoming new members from ages 21-75 (or ambulatory status). Special note: our 21-32 age group of women are especially eager for more women their age...they're tired of the older women hitting on them....and the 50-75 age range are complaining...they say they need women with more stamina than the yungins', "Bring us ones that can keep up with us!"...the 32-49 age range are all attending therapy, getting over ex's, getting a clue, etc....Something for everyone!

Last call for Rehoboth! RSVP to me by August 3rd. Funds are needed by August 10th. (Someone emailed me asking if there was going to be any hanky-panky going on; was she going to be hit on by the other women. My answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT! It is NOT at all included in the $150.00 price, and will be an additional charge.)

First Friday Potluck Group this Friday, August 3rd. The FFPG is having their monthly potluck, and a mutual member Kate will be hostessing it at her house. For details and directions, contact Kate.

Culture outing! This Saturday, August 4th, LIFE! Group takes a road trip to the Titanic Exhibit (way cool!), located near Baltimore's Inner Harbor. After taking in the historic wonder, lunch at the Inner Harbor, strutting about, trying to pick up...stuff...Contact me ASAP if you wanna go.

Lori's BBQ August 10th! Lori, (aka Wetdream), will be hostessing a bring-your-own-grub/beer party at her house. (This is going to be a great time and place to pay your membership dues of $15.00! Cos I'll be there collecting!) BUT, there will be no hostess/door fee, and this is open to all women who are either members and non-members! Contact Kristine (Lori's partner...hey, they met through the group!) for directions and details.
