I LOVE YOU (Poem)

How can mere words express what the heart feels?

To tell of love that runs so deep?

Or speak of the emotions that only lovers know?

Can words alone convey what happens when our eyes meet?

The unspoken love, the shared memories and laughter?

Will my words convey the thrill of being with you, no matter how carefully chosen?

Now I know why poets have anguished, and writers have wept over their words.

Because, My Love

There is simply no words

Adequate to tell of my love for

YOU!!!!

Your love is a lantern
That lights my way,
Uplifting my spirits,
When skies are gray.

Your love is a wave
That lifts me higher,
Into a sea
Of tender desire.

That can never die,
For always and ever,
It will be just you and I.

Your love is a rose,
Moistened with dew,
Touching my soul,
With the beauty of you.
