NEW YORK CITY, NY – CASA BLANCA – JUL. 6th, 2002 – SATURDAY
Kirstin, Grace and Gloria entered ‘Casa Blanca’, the wedding dress store.
Kirsten had picked out her dress over a month ago and this was the last fitting before the wedding, which would happen in only 3 weeks.
“Oh, God. I’m so nervous. What if the dress doesn’t fit me anymore and there’s nothing they can do about it?” Kirstin was starting to freak out.
“Calm down, sweetie. Everything is fine.” Gloria started to calm her down “You were here last week. You didn’t gain weight since then. The dress is gonna look perfect on you and they may not even have to do anything today.”
“You think so?” Kirstin asked.
“I know so. Now where’s Mary-Ann?” Gloria searched the place for the seller that was working on Kirstin’s dress “There she is. Stay here and I’ll go get her.”
“K, relax.” Grace took her friends hand “The dress will be great on you.”
“I know. I guess I’m just nervous because the wedding is almost here already.”
“I understand.”
“Three weeks, Grace! Three weeks!”
“I know, I know, K. But aren’t you happy you’re finally marrying the man of your dreams.”
“Oh, yes. That’s the only thought that keeps me calm. Knowing for sure Ash is the right one for me.”
“See? So there’s nothing else you should worry about.”
“I guess…” Kirstin took a deep breath.
“Oh, here they come with your dress.”
“Miss Addams, so glad to see you again.” the pretty blond woman around her thirties greeted her client.
“Hey, Mary-Ann. So nice to meet you again.” The two kissed on the cheek “So, what about my dress? Still here? Haven’t sold it to anyone, right?”
“No, of course not, Miss Addams. Don’t worry, we would never do that.” the nice woman smiled “It’s right here.” she said, taking the dress out of the big box she had placed near her.
“Oh, great!” Kirstin exclaimed “My dress! My pretty dress.” Kirstin hugged her dress and Grace, Gloria and Mary-Ann smiled at her. The three of them knew how hard it was for Kirstin to make up her mind and settle for one dress.
“So, let’s put it on?” Mary-Ann asked.
“Let’s!”
LOS ANGELES – HOTEL – JUL. 8th, 2002 – MONDAY
“So?” Erik asked as soon as Ashley entered the recording studio.
“Done.” Ashley smiled and showed off a little velvet box.
“I can’t believe it took you so long to buy the bands!” Jacob said.
“I wanted them to be perfect. Kirstin and I’ll be wearing them for the rest of our lives, you know?”
“He’s right, Jake. It’s a very important choice and I’m glad you took your time to pick them.” Dan spoke up.
“Now, are you gonna let us see it or what?” Trevor was way too excited for all the talk. He wanted to see the bands already.
“Ok.” Ashley opened the box and showed both bands.
“Aw!” Trevor exclaimed “They are perfect!”
“Are you going to cry, Trev?” Erik looked at his friend.
“No!” Trevor tried to keep it under control “It’s just that… they are such perfect bands. Oh, Ashley, bro, I’m so happy for you!” Trevor hugged him tight.
“Thanks, Trev.” Ashley smiled “So…” Ashley continued after breaking his hug with Trevor “What about you guys? Did you like them?”
“They sure are perfect, Ash.” Dan said.
“Beautiful.” Erik agreed.
“I have absolutely no doubt Kirstin is going to love it.” Jacob smiled.
“Great! Thank you so much, guys!” Ashley smiled as they experienced a group hug right there in the middle of the recording booth.
