NEW YORK CITY, NY – KIRSTIN’S LOFT – APR.16th, 2002 – TUESDAY
“Ashley, wait.” Kirstin called out and stepped down when she saw Ashley getting closer to the door.
“Why?” Ashley turned to face her “You don’t believe me. Why should I wait?” Ashley sounded really hurt because she didn’t trust him.
“I… I don’t know what to believe. Or who to believe.” Kirstin said in a low tone of voice.
“You think Cindy and I together make sense? Any sense? Any sense at all?”
“Nothing makes sense to me right now.” Kirstin kept her head down.
“That’s good, because this ridiculous idea of me and Cindy together shouldn’t make sense. It doesn’t make the bit of sense. I hate that girl for everything she put you through in high school and for doing what she did to you just a few days ago. How could you think I’d be with her now after all this? How could that have even crossed your mind?” he sounded pissed.
“I don’t know, Ashley!” Kirstin exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air “But it had crossed my mind. Many times. And I don’t know why.” she looked down “Maybe it had crossed my mind because I thought you wanted to get even with me for… I don’t know!” Kirstin was blind with tears in her eyes.
“Don’t be ridiculous.” Ashley said this time in a sweet tone and got closer to her “Why would I want to get even with you? For what?”
“Because I hurt you by kissing Jared and I thought you wanted to hurt me by kissing Cindy. I don’t know. I just… I had no idea why Cindy was there at the hotel and when she said you had invited her there, I just believed her because… because that’s what she does. She gets to me. Whatever she says, I believe her. I don’t want to, but she has this way to put me down and I let her put me down and I feel so bad around her that… I don’t know. I hate that girl! I don’t know why I always fall for what she says and…” Kirstin couldn’t keep her voice from trembling with anger and couldn’t stop the great amount of tears from dropping.
“Kirstin, come here.” Ashley embraced her “K, you have to find a way to not feel so vulnerable around that girl. She’s not at all better than you. She’s actually a lot worse than you. You’re so much better than her. You gotta stop being silly. You gotta show her you’re better than she is.”
“I know, but… I can’t.”
“But we can. We’ll do it together. Don’t worry. You and I. Together.” he brushed her hair “We’ll go there later and show her she can’t tear us apart.” Ashley grinned and Kirstin did the same. She believed it when Ashley said not even Cindy could tear them apart and that made her feel so great.
“Thank you, Ash. I love you so much.” Kirstin held him tighter.
“I love you, too.” Ashley pulled her away gently and leaned in to place a soft kiss on her lips. She was so tired of thinking, so tired of feeling bad, she just wanted to feel good, and being in Ashley’s arms did that to her. Nothing could make her feel better than having Ashley embracing her and kissing her. She wanted to taste him better, make herself feel better, so she deepened the kiss. But she wanted more. She wanted to feel his weight on top of her, so she started to unbutton his shirt.
He wanted her too. So he started to unzip her pants. She tossed them aside and pushed Ashley toward the stairs and led him upstairs, really slowly and opening her eyes every now and then, but never breaking the kiss.
Once they collapsed onto the bed, Ashley was on top of her and he left Kirstin’s lips to trail down her neck, her collar bone and then pulled her blouse off of her. When he was ready to kiss her downer than her collar bone, Kirstin pushed him away gently.
“No, wait.”
“What?” Ashley asked, puzzled “is something wrong?”
“No, just missing.” Kirstin smiled sweetly and left the bed only in her underwear, and trailed to the stereo. Ashley observed as she got the tape she had given him before and turned to him “You said you loved it.” Ashley smiled and nodded when Kirstin indicated the tape “So, I just want you to listen to it while we make love so you can see in my actions and in my eyes, that I truly mean every word in this song.” Kirstin pressed play.
The smile left Ashley’s face and Kirstin’s was serious too as she headed back to the bed. Ashley sat up and Kirstin sat on his lap while the song started playing, their gaze never leaving each other’s.

They didn’t move. They just stared at each other, and even with the sound of the music, they could hear each other’s breathing.
I've found a

Kirstin broke their eye contact by leaning in slowly and kissed Ashley softly on the mouth, first with pecks and then she slipped her tongue in his mouth.
I'm sorry that I hurt you

That’s why I need you to hear
Ashley groaned. Kirstin’s tongue was hot, she was hot, and he realized his loins were hot. Kirstin soon felt his arousal and stopped kissing him and looked again deeply in his eyes.

The eye contact broke again by Ashley’s sudden move. He twisted around and placed Kirstin under him. He stared hungrily at her and she could see the love in his eyes.
“I love you.” Kirstin said.
“I love you.” Ashley said too and kissed her the deepest he could.

Soon, both of them were naked and Kirstin could feel Ashley’s arousal on her tights. She stopped kissing him, and, breathless, said:
“Please. Now.”
As Ashley himself wouldn’t be able to control it any longer, he didn’t protest and thrust himself inside her abruptly.
Kirstin cried out.
“Oh, I’m sorry, did I hurt you?”
“No, just go on, please, don’t stop.” Kirstin pulled him by his hair and kissed his mouth hard.

The song stopped but their bodies continued moving at the same rhythm and Kirstin cried out as wave after wave of pleasure run inside her body. It still took a while for Ashley to collapse onto Kirstin’s body after reaching his climax.
“Oh, my God!” Kirstin’s breath was hard and her eyes were closed. Her legs were still wrapped around Ashley’s hips and he was still inside her.
“Oh, my God.” Ashley said almost at the same time as Kirstin did.
They both opened their eyes and looked at each other at the same time.
“Oh, my God!” this time they said in unison.
“Did you feel it?” Ashley asked serious.
“Yes.” Kirstin replied serious too. She wasn’t quite sure what ‘it’ was, but she sure felt something different this time.
“What was that?” Ashley frowned.
“I don’t know.”
“Oh, my God!” Ashley shook his head “I want more.”
“Me too. But what was that?”
“No idea. Maybe the song… the atmosphere… I don’t know. I don’t even know how to try to explain it.”
“Me too. That’s weird.”
“Good weird.” Kirstin smirked.
“Great weird!” Ashley smiled big.
They felt something this time they made love. They knew what it was, but they couldn’t share it with each other for some reason they couldn’t understand yet.
For Kirstin, it was the first time she wasn’t afraid he’d hurt her like her previous boyfriends. For the first time, she could give herself to him fully, because he would take care of her forever, just like he said and just like she believed him.
For Ashley, it was practically the same. He now knew Kirstin was his, his only. He had claimed her for himself. He was not afraid to lose her for anyone else again. He had made her feel something this night she had never felt before, he could see it in her eyes. She was his. Finally.
