Don't remember when we wrote last but now we're in Kathmandu anyways.
The trip here from Darjeeling was not the easiest one. First we got stuck 2 days by the border because of a strike. Then we had to take a local bus to Kathmandu the whole trip took 22 hours and we were squashed in the back of the bus, it was bumping up and down, the bus had to stop all the time for army checkups.......... It was horrible. Luckily we were travelling with 3 other people that we met in Darjeeling, which made it a bit more fun, well not fun but........ eeeeeeeeeeeeeh..
Anyways now we've spendt almost one week in Kathmandu. It's a great city! Has everything. Mostly we've been walking around exploring, shopping.. We've done trips to closeby villages in the Kathmandu valley. We've bought a digital video camera which is cheap here!
Today we saw a buffalo being slaugthered in the middle of the street! Tomorrow we've been invited to a wedding! It's gonna be interesting. Now it's a festival here which means that everybody throw water on each other. It's good fun!
