~2 weeks later~

It was Zac’s turn to set me up. He said he had met her at a gas station, but I had a feeling he really had met her at a strip club he and his friends had snuck into one Saturday night. He had originally wanted her for himself, but she had refused, claiming he was too young. I have yet to find out what her actual age is.

So, Zac told her he had a brother that was looking for a date. She agreed and before I knew it, I was out on another date I didn’t want to be on.

She was a sexy, voluptuous woman with raven hair and haunting, dark eyes. A real jungle beauty. I would have been drooling over her if I were still in my teens. She was the kind of woman I would have given up a vital organ to have in my younger years. Yet there I was, refusing her many offers to take a tour of her apartment.

“I can’t.. I have work to do for the band and about a million other things to get done… Maybe next time.” I offered a small smile as her eyes dropped.

“Alright. Call me sometime.”

“Sure.” She turned and walked into the building with her head down. I imagined she didn’t often walk with her head down. She didn’t seem like the type of person to feel sorry for herself. It almost made me feel bad for her.

I went on two more dates with her, but I never did see the inside of her apartment.
