Show #1 - The Stoned guys
Well we needed to practice playing in front of people, and for our first show, we invited a couple of potheads that Jim lives next to over to hear us play. Our set list was like Brain Stew, Know My Name, and Dark Skies. They whistled and cheered after every song, and we don't know why. I (Joel Silver) looked at the floor the whole time. Then Jim's parents got mad at him for letting the stoned guys come over.
Show #2 - Church Show
This show was our first real big show, and first one in which we actually left, instead of people coming to see us. It was at Jim's church, that one on 108 you always see. Anyways, we only played one song, Know My Name, but it was good, Ben was in the audience. I didn't look at the floor, I looked at the audience, but it was OK cause it was all lights so I couldn't see anyone's eyes. They cheered, and we made a couple jokes and they laughed, and afterwards the girl hosting the show made fun of us. Anyways, we were all supposed to wear a white T-shirt and an unbuttoned shirt over it, and they all wore flannel, and I wore a hawaiian shirt.
Show #3 - Backyard Show
Well, before Coffee House, we decided to practice out on Jim's deck. So we set up and everything and started playing, and all these little kids and their parents walked by and stopped to watch, and the kids were dancing and stuff, and that was the best response we've ever had.
Show #4 - Coffee House
Probably our most famous show. Our set list was Sovereign, Dark Skies, Paranoid, and Know My Name. During Know My Name, Brian from Drone sang along in the audience and I saw him. I'm sure others were too, cause it's our number 1 hit, and everyone must have known the words but I didn't see them. Brent was in the audience at the time too. Oh, during Sovereign, Jim's drums broke or something and I tried to help, but couldn't. Oh yea, Ben came on and played during 2 songs, but they weren't in order, it was Dark Skies and Know My Name. That means he came on, left, and came on again. During the times he didn't play he waved his hands in the air. I give this show a 10 out of 10 because Lidder rocks the nub. Afterwards, we went to Rocky Run, like after Church Show.
Show #5 - Wilde Times
Well this was our latest show and the only one with Brent. It was just Me, Ben, and Brent. Anyways, we had gone after Jim's old band Dynamis I, and no one was around when we played except them and the people that worked there. It was for the best though, our rendition of Big Balls needed some work. Anyways, our set list was Monster Mash, Dark Skies, Big Balls, and Know My Name. For an encore we did Hey Ben. Thats about it.
Show #6 - Beach Show
One day as Lidder was sitting around, they received a phone call. It was the government, and once again, Lidder was there to save the day. They raced, via helicopter, to the beach where an anxious crowd awaited. After some killing, Lidder played The Show Must Go On. The crowd loved it and cheered and cheered. Afterwards, terrorists began shooting again and like true heroes, Lidder fled for help.
Show #7 - Amazon Rainforest Show
Lidder was sitting around (As we often do) and had an ingenious idea. Who would appreciate Lidder's music more than people who have never heard anything better? So to the indigenous lands of the Amazon we travelled. We played Time and Time and no one seemed to understand the lyrics. We knew it was the perfect place to play because there were mosh pits before we even arrived. After the show the natives complained of us having infected them with deadly bacteria. We told them to get some antibiotics and left. We ended up going back about 2 months later because we forgot an amp and found everyone was dead. We suspect Monkey Pox.
