| black sheep in wolf's white; blending traditional & modern ideas covens of the licorice unicorn M'Lady Angel Campoamor was initiated as the High Priestess of the Licorice Unicorn Covens by former High Priestess Jeanne Ré Montandon in 1999. Since then, she has since dutifully served the office. As the head of the Licorice Unicorn, she maintains the large-scale aspects of the covens as a national religious organization. Even though she oversees the major operations of the Licorice Unicorn, M'Lady still takes the time to personally guide the members under her tutelage. Teaching is one of her gifts & passions; M'Lady takes great joy in it. Since assuming the office of High Priestess, she has constantly raised the bar for her Coveners, revising outdated practices & adding fresh approaches. M'Lady works to promote religious tolerance & understanding in her community. As part of this mission, she sponsors a number of philanthropic endeavors & is not afraid to address the media on the subject of her spiritual practices. She has appeared on national TV representing the Covens of the Licorice Unicorn & witches in general. In September 2002, M'Lady gave birth to her first child—a beautiful, healthy boy named Galen. Currently, she is attending school in southern California as she works towards a Masters degree in Psychology. Although being a High Priestess, student, & mother does not allow her much time off, M'Lady Angel uses her spare time to cultivate her life-long interest in theater. In addition, she enjoys attending SCA events, dancing, & reading. |
