What is WYRM?
WYRM is an evolving performance art piece by Eric Riley, and has only
been actualized in public one time, at the Winter 1997 WONDERBRAWL, at the
Campbell Country Recreational Center in Amelia Ohio.
Version 1.0, the WONDERBRAWL performance, consisted of three separate
performances, each of a duration of 7-15 minutes. Each segment had its
own themes and costumes, both created by Eric Riley.
Vocal effects processing and ambient background noise was provided by
Jeremy Harrison of the Cincinnati based group SKIN CURTAIN.
All of the pictures on this website were taken at the performance by
Laura Cook, a personal friend of the artist, and I owe her a deep debt of
gratitude for them.
